Not to start the BEGI vs Sebring threat again, but it seems that the

Japanese tuner MAZDASPEED has choosen for the Sebring kit (which is not

surprising since Norm is involved in the Sebring and Mazda). This news was

found at the poweraxel site:







"MAZDASPEED will start an installation service for the "Super Charger Kit",

a bolt-on type designed for MX-5 1600cc (Type: NA6CE). The service will

begin from May 1, 1996 at Sports Factory shops nationwide. 



The newly developed "Super Charger Kit" for MX-5 1600cc is a bolt-on kit

which concentrates on improving the torque in all rpm ranges, plus a

muscled high rpm. The maximum power produces over 170ps* (a 50% increase

compared to the normal version).

Furthermore, it is setup to ensure easy handling on public roads as well.

As the MX-5 1600cc B6 engine is a high rpm type, the adoption of the "Super

Charger" which will also strengthen the lower rpm will be an effective

tune-up method.

The "Capacity Indicator" which is included in the kit will create the ideal

air/fuel ratio and maintain a stable jet even during racing circuit drives.

With the combination of "Metal Clutch Set" and "Stiffed Engine Mount Bush"

both sold from MAZDASPEED, the performance can be improved up to it's

maximum.

Other parts such as, "Exclusive ECU" and "Exclusive Inter-cooler" are now

being developed.
