Wow. Did you go in through the top of the engine compartment> All you need to do is remove the plastic shroud under the engine, and the bar is easily accessible without having to mess around with hoses, etc. A simple job that should take an hour or so, and the most anoying part of that is removing the millions of bolts that hold that shroud on. At least you got a coolant change out of it - but folks, don't get worried about having to drain your rads. I've done sway bar installs on cars with PS but not ABS, and there was nothing like this. I don't think the ABS has enough wiring down there to cause a problem, either.
