Hi Jonathan,

I purchased an Alpine SEC-8047 which includes a dual radar sensor. the

Sensor chirps 4 times if you get too close. If you reach inside the

car, it sets the alarm off. So far, i have not had any complaints at

all. I can even leave my top down without any cats climbing on my car.

(it took me about 2 months to realize that it was my alarm that was

keeping the cats away, I just though i had been really lucky!) Overall

i've been really happy with it. At first i didn't like paying $400 for

it, but now i feel it was well worth it.



P.S. the alarm also has all the other normal features like starter

kill, flashing parking lights, door lock enterface, ect, but i

purchased it for the dual sensor.
