Actually the 1600cc and the 2.3L overhead cam engine had trouble with cams. Apparently they were not heat treated correctly, and the cam lobes wore off... but that is another story. BTW, a standard 1600cc lotus engine head will fit a festiva very nicely. Bolts on without any mods... A new pocket rocket! It surprized a few people I know at stoplights.... 911 included...
