I've been following the list, educating myself on Miatas, and learning a lot. Now it turns out I have a question I haven't seen covered, at least since I've been reading. :) I'm considering a local '91 Silver in excellent condition, garaged, 23,000 miles, offered for $10K. Unfortunately, it doesn't have air conditioning, which I've grown very accustomed to down here in the Southeast. :( Can anyone offer advice/opinions on having air retrofitted? Is it worth having done, or am I better off waiting for one I like with air? Mazda offers the parts, which the local dealer here lists at $800 and labor at $432. I've e-mailed a price request to Roebuck, which is about 2 hours away. If anyone has any opinions on Roebuck, yea or nay, I'd like to hear them, as well (direct e-mail responses to me are fine, or posted to the list, either one). I ran a search on the archives, but after 30 minutes no response. Looks like one of those queries that need to be run at an off-time. So, thought I'd solicit advice here and check the archives late at night. :) --Keith ---- Keith Wilhite - kwilhite@hiwaay.net - http://fly.hiwaay.net/~kwilhite
