} I just got a set of Racing Beat stainless steel brake lines and they come

} with a warning on them that they are for off-road use only and that they

} should not be used on a public road or highway.



} Is this just legal mumbo-jumbo?  Some sort of of lawyer-created loophole to

} keep me from suing Racing Beat should they fail for some reason?  I really

} don't have anything to worry about, do I?



The warning simply means they don't have the appropriate government

certification for on-road use.  _In itself_, it's not a reason to

worry. I'll leave the technical discussion of the lines to those more

knowledgable.
