I had a 90 silver  miata that squeeked(more like a chirp) badly.  It came and

went.  It drove me crazy.  I wiggled everything under the hood and under the

dash that I could get my hands on to no avail.  I sprayed everything under

the car that I could with WD40.  Nothing worked.  My best guess was

exhaust/manifold movement.  When I sold the car, two people refused it

because of that noise.  It didn't chirp for the guy that finally bought it.

 I have another 90 with Millens turbo kit and once the same noise started.

 It hasn't done it consistently but it must be common on that year.  Both

90's were early models.



Jeff, I'm going to get your radio upgrade as soon as the weather allows me to

take off the hardtop and get in there and do things.
