I have a trunk mounted rack that I have fabricated, to which I will be 

making some modifications to allow it to carry something larger (a kayak, 

small canoe, etc.), also supported by the windshield cross bar.  No paint 

harming contact is made by this rack.



Are you looking specifically for something for the hardtop, or just 

something to carry luggage, bike racks, etc?  The rack I have already, has a 

carrying capacity of over 100lbs.
