If you remember back to the end of July '96, there was a earthquake in 

Japan. This quake caused hugh waves to occur along the So Cal 

coastline. High Tide was at 1:00 A.M. and we wanted to see what all 

the excitement was about.  The worst part was, we were wrong about the 

time. It was actually low tide when we got there. On the way back is 

when the tire blew out.  Sorry, but that's the real story.... 



The view wasn't worth it, but the end result allowed me to purchase my 

miata...  That might almost make up for rest of it       :)
