While looking at a book I bought of Miata road test compilations, I

noticed the bottom seat cushion seems to have changed somewhere between

'94-'96.  The earlier ones have seperate bolsters on the sides, while

later ones appear to be integrated with the cushion.  The sew-style also

appears slightly different, with less stiched ribs across the pad.  I

didn't find any mention of this in the Miata spotters guide.  Was this a

comfort improvement of some sort, or just a cost save on Mazda's part? 

The earlier style definately looks better.
