Hello to all, I just got a second quote on the repair of my hail damage. A local dealership (chevy) quoted replacing the hood and trunk lid. They said they would try to pull the dents out of the fenders and doors but may have to use some filler (bondo I presume) then repainting the whole car... I like the idea of having the hood and trunk lid replaced but am not too hip to the idea of using bondo on my baby or of having the whole thing repainted. I am currently trying to negotiate with State Farm to have the dealer do the hood and trunk lid replace but letting a dentless place fix the doors and fenders. Do you folks this seems like the right way to go or should I let them repaint the whole thing just to be sure everything matches up. I do have some healthy scratches and door dings that they said they would fix by doing the total paint operation. Your replies are appreciated. Moe and Mi-T-Mo w/ dimples.
