Previously on Performance Shifting, Chris Lambert <lamberts@erols.com> joked... > >Is your shift knob hot in the summer and cold in the winter? > > > >Try my new product: Nice enough for making your hand comfortable /after/ the fact. What we really need is something to adjust the temperature of the offending knob itself. While the Voodoo minions toil in their dark recesses trying to breed a perfectly spherical cow, we must find other solutions. Perhaps if the front vent in your design were placed on a snorkle that could be aimed at the knob. Then a remote control for starting the car and energizing the heater/cooler device, and voila! No more unpleasant temperatures on our sensitive hands. Of course it would cost a little more, but hey, it's no more complex than a CAI, we oughtta be able to bring it in for under $500!
