Yup - that's right.  We had a Type 3 - first car I ever drove!  Looked like

a bad 911 :)



The convertible you're talking about is probably the Karmann Ghia cabrio.

A rebodied bug, they were stylish but slow.  If it had a body that looked

like it was made of corrugated iron, that's the Thing.



Keith and Baby, who's stylish, but can beat the pants off a Karmann Ghia :)
