There has been a lot of talk on this list for the past few weeks about 

the new design of the MX-5 Miata.  The Puget Sound Chapter's newsletter, 

the "Miata Sounder," was notified recently that one of its own has been 

named as a technical consultant to the expanded MX-5 design team!

 

This news was provided in an announcement by none other than the father 

of the Miata, Tom M. himself!  Tom praised the new team member for "his 

exceptional ingenuity and foresight" regarding the proposed changes for 

the MX-5's next model upgrade.



The distribution of the Puget Sound chapter's monthly newsletter was 

delayed in order to dedicate its lead story to this development, with 

the hope of preventing leakage to the MX-5 community regarding this 

breaking Miata news story.  For particulars and details which are now
