Subject: HOT! Modular V-6 '99 Miata!

My neighbor is a product development engineer for Ford and last night he

shared some info on a new wiring harness for a modular (Ford based) V-6 that

they are bench troubleshooting.  (All Ford wiring harnesses are made in

Mexico of course!) 



This is the same engine found in the Mustang (V-8 version of course) and will

be in both the Miata as well as the Mustang in 1999.  



This would of course explain the longer "snout" on the 98 Miata that we all

have been seeing the past couple of weeks.



Could this engine be the basis for a true "R" edition of the new body style?
