>>>I am going to remove the inside door panel to get at the drivers side window because it is VERY stiff to roll down the last half. I know how to remove everything except the handle for putting the window up and down. Is there a trick? Do I need a special tool? Please help. Oh! Oh! I actually know this! -- Frank Potter showed me. Yes, you need a special tool. It's called a handkerchief. Take a corner and wrap it around the base so it fits snugly into the gap where the handle meets the door. Put one hand under this area. Then quickly but carefully, pull the cloth free. This should cause the little metal thingy that holds the handle in place to spring free and fall into your hand. Then the handle comes right off. And it's easier to put back together than take apart. Of course, actually fixing the window was the part I couldn't do... Good luck, Leigh
