not not really, I was as surprised as the most of you that the Dakar 

had the original dash. We have had the rounded dash in Europe since 

late 1993. The Dakar however is a 90 HP 1.6, so maybe they are still 

using the original dash on the new 1.6's ??? My friend has a 1993 1.6 

and he hah the round dash. But his is a 116 HP...
