Tasha, I've only had my stripes for two weeks. Certainly you get a lot more people looking at you, and waving, smiling, etc. I havent had any of the bad reactions that you describe, but it may be too soon yet. If you do it, be prepared for unfavorable comments from friends and work-mates. I would say one fifth of people say "WOW, thats fantastic" two fifths say "You IDIOT, why on earth did you do that to your car" the other two fifths are diplomatically silent, but I expect they dis-approve also. As it happens, I like swimming against the stream, and this reaction has actually made me feel better about the stripes. I'm just warning that If you're the type that seeks group approval, it may not be the right move... Fletch. Red '90 (with two white 8" stripes)
