Subject: Nashville, TN Autocross Sunday May 4 (NMC)

  The next Solo2 event for the Tennessee Region Sports Car Club of

America is Sunday, May 4 at the old Nashville Airport long-term 

parking lot.  Registration and tech should begin at 9:30 with the first 

car off at 11:30 .



  Directions from DOWNTOWN Nashville:  I-40 East toward Knoxville,

take the first Briley Parkway exit (Exit 215-A AWAY from Opryland). 

Go straight through 3 traffic lights, exit at "Exit 5".  The course 

and paddock area are ahead on the left.

  The second event for May is Sunday May 18 at Music City Raceway, 

Union Hill, TN.



  Directions from DOWNTOWN Nashville: I-65 North to the Long Hollow

Pike exit.  Turn left and go straight to Dickerson Pike.  Turn Right.

Go 1.2 miles and turn left at the KOA Campground (Lickton Pike).

Go 4.1 miles, turn right on Union Hill Road (be sure to bear LEFT at

the railroad underpass 0.8 miles from Dickerson Pike).  Go 1.5 miles

on Union Hill Road, turn left on Ivy Point Road.  The Raceway is 0.5

miles ahead on the right.



  Note: At the last event, part of Lickton Pike was closed, the 

well-marked detour brought you back to Lickton Pike just PAST 

Union Hill Road.  If the detour is still in place at the time of

this event, follow it, and when you get back to Lickton Pike you

will need to turn RIGHT and go a few hundred yards then LEFT on

Union Hill Road.

  The Tri-Lakes Sports Car Club has an autocross scheduled for May

11 at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma (about 1.5 hours

SE from Nashville).  Tech and registration start about 10:30 with the 

first car off about 12:30.  I can supply directions and additional 

information if needed.
