I don't have a power antenna; do all Miata covers have an antenna cutout? James: Several thoughts. I've used Tyvek, for many things, esp. as a house wrap. It cuts down markedly on wind getting in the house. Yet, it is not a vapor barrier, ie it lets moisture out. But it is not "soft". I wonder if it would leave swirls or marks on auto paint. I have a Wolf generation III cover for the Porsche, and it does a nice job of avoiding scrapes and most dirt, but it does not keep the car dry. The most successful thing I've done is to rent a barn! That may sound strange, but around here you can rent space in a barn for 20-40.00/mo. and then you can easily start and move the car around. If the car is buried in a snow drift it is difficult to do those things! Even if not buried, the chances thata car cover will be frozen on are pretty great. Although somewhat more expensive, I'd pick the barn option over the car cover options if you can. Oh yeah, my experience is that you "make your own" antenna hole in most car covers.
