Subject: Jumpy idle

Can anyone guess at what might be causing this problem?



For the past two days, when I press in the clutch, my Miata will rev up and

down quickly between 1500 and 2000 revs.  When I take my foot off of the

brake, the idle will stop jumping, and instead sit at 2200 rpm.  No

problems when I am in gear.  Could this by a computer or oxygen sensor

problem?  Any help would really be appreciated.
