I've seen many Miata owners wave at each other, but two weeks ago I saw my

first headlight-raising wave.  I was following my wife who was driving a

good friend of ours' 90 A package Miata.  As we entered the center of our

town, another Miata coming the other direction popped its headlights up and

down.  I smiled, looking forward to the (hopefully soon) day when I can

return the wave in my wife's new Miata.  (In the meantime, if you see a

couple you've never seen before in a red GTI wave at your Miata, pretend

they're in a Miata and wave back  :)



Anyways, after getting to our house, my wife and friend kept talking about

how neat the Miata wave was; neither of them had ever seen it before

(obviously they need to read this list more often :)
