There is a German company that sells brake "paint" (checkout speciality auto mags. towards the back). Although, it would seem that any high temp. paint in yellow would work. Along the lines of highlighting small components with paint, I recently thought of (won't do it though, truth be told) painting the mirrors red or yellow, ala the Mercedez CLK-SLR or the Silver Arrows (F1). Keep in mind, this is all on a silver car, so it would have contrast. Eric Schwarzentraub '91 Silver If I had a silver Miata, I would paint it up like a fighter jet-- you know, either paint the shark's mouth around the car's or go with a picture of a Vargas girl on the side after the wheel. Then for the rear, if you have a spoiler that could be painted black, or a star decal on the fender. You pilots out there can help me with this one; I think there are call numbers along the rear quarter panel or along the top of the body near the cockpit, either way, you could substitute them with the VIN number. After that I'd get a Tonneau cover, a style bar over the driver seat and a glass arched cover to finish off the cockpit. Either that or stick with the paint scheme, get a rotory motor and run the fan blades through the mouth. Speaking of which, has anyone ever tried to swap a rotory into one of these? Someone said the the spindle of an 84 X-7 would fit if you didn't have a clutch alignment tool which led me to believe the rest of it would fit.
