I am quite jealous of your trip, having lived in Monterey for 4 years

total, and now being stuck in the army's living version of Hell called

Fort Bragg, NC  (do you know Braxton Bragg was actually a Confederate

hero?)



enjoy your trip, in the course of my travels with the army,  I have

covered significant portions of your route, and enjoyed the fantastic

scenery.   Now,  if only our highways were still more like the old Route

66!
