We dad's love our sons and even >more, we need to know that they love us too. The understanding you've >shown and I use the term "understanding" in a loose manner, makes some >of the senior cits happy, pleased, contented.... enough palaver. > Dennis & Am Fear Gorm "The Blue One" '94 Laguna Blue > Dennis: More than glad to hear you all are having a good time too! I sat dad and thanked Dad for letting me borrow his toy. He seemed kind of stunned at this but I think he understood when I said I don't plan on borrowing it. It's his time in the sun now and he's worked very hard for it. He isn't a selfish man and am always amazed at how much I can tax his resources without too much of a fight. My girlfriend and I drove the car around for about an hour tonight. Every stoplight it was someone saying WOW! ( I already get this to some degree in LTLVPR ). And I was thinking, he'll love this.....I know I do. I feel bad for people who can't learn to love a machine......especially a convertible. It's much more than a point A to point B experience........it's all the senses being put on overload.......music, wind, sound, etc. Be it Porsche or Miata.....it doesn't matter......I remember this freedom in my 1973 Dodge Challenger.....barely ran.....but windows down on a summer night and the V8 humming along......it didn't matter. That gleam in the eye well all get is what it's all about. Percy & LTLVPR Owner Guy M.
