} Dennis, you missed my point.  The liability could result in the event

} that after the air bag is removed the driver is killed in an accident

} where his life might have been saved by an air bag.



The Moss wheel retains the stock airbag.  It would be illegal

(according to law written by NHTSA bureaucrats) for anyone to replace

the airbagged wheel with a non-airbagged wheel for hire.
