Subject: PS rack noise / clunk

Hey all,



I have noticed since I purchased my 91 last september that the power

steering rack 'clunks' when turning over bumps, or turning the steering

wheel back and forth while remaining still.  Does anyone else's miata do

this, or am I looking at a rack replacement soon?  I have checked all

suspension parts and all tie rod ends.  Everything tight.  There is no

freeplay in the wheel.  The sound is definately internal rack, but I can't

seem to find any signs of play/wear?



Any ideas?
