They have every bit as sharp a horizontal cutoff as the factory originals did in my '80 911 (European version). The Vision Plus's are not as bright, but they still have the low wattage bulbs in them. They do provide more light to the right to light up the signs, etc. I like them very much and won't go back to the stock halogens. Skip Cannon
