    ROFL.  You are right, "there *is* no education like direct          

    experience."  I quickly learned that just because I drove a Miata,  

    didn't necesarily mean I would do well.  Of course, my first a/x I  

    went out *totally* stock.  I still run in stock, but not that       

    "stock".  I can say I have a firm lock on 3rd place in my class,    

    behind a BMW 325i and an a 1.8L Miata respectively.



    Embarrased? Nah, I love being out there and seeing all the cool     

    cars, and meeting great people.  Even if I do poorly overall,       

    individually, I still see improvement and always have a blast!
