"We" are, but "we" are only a small percentage of the Miata owners out

there, many of whom don't understand the camaraderie that comes with

ownership.  I passed 2 Miatae today, one black with the top up (I waved, no

wave back), and one white with the top down (I 'flash-waved' and got a big

smile and nice wave from the girls - cool.)  I also got a wave from a guy

who was obviously enjoying the sunshine in his red TR7 convertible, but

then he might just have been manic for having it running.



Basically, I don't think car color has anything to do with it, nor does

gender.  Just keep trying.  Some will wave back and some will wonder what's

wrong with you.  If only they knew :)
