Subject: Help! My Radio is Locked Out

I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with a little problem.



In July of 1995 I bought a brand new miata and immediately joined the Miata Club. I have enjoyed both the car and club immensely. The network of information and people has to be the best thing since sliced bread. (OK bad cliche) I am hoping that someone can help me solve this little problem I am now experiencing.



I have the originally equipped anti-theft Panasonic AM/FM Cassette player stereo. Recently, I went on vacation, only to return to a dead battery. It seems I and made the fatal mistake of leaving the passenger door ajar. 



After finally getting the battery recharged, I unsuccessfully attempted to reinsert my security code for the radio. Now of course I have the Err flashing.



I read in the FAQ that there is a six step procedure that will remedy this.



Can someone help me with the six step process to clear the Err message and allow me to reenter my security code so I may once again operate my stereo?
