It's TONS of fun(it also helps my driving skills), but i > was just > wondering if it could hurt the car, as long as I don't run into a curb > or > something. > Talking about running into curb... I just ran over a curb and my Miata cried out loud like it had a collision with the curb. What possible damage would this cause? The surface looks ok... I am worried about the exhaust. Now, talking about the exhaust, a metal fence fell off a car in front of me (it's about 24" x 1" wide) I thought I ran over it, but after I exited off the freeway, I heard strange noise from under the car and I found out that the metal fence was stuck between the muffler and left rear wheel. I pulled it off and didn't know if there is any damage to it. Recently, I noticed that the muffler noise is not as smooth as before. It sounds like the noise is actually from under the engine... Is this related to the previous two events I had? I'm puzzled. Chris > Thanks...Kirk > '90 Red "Spinner" -129k
