They are quite hard, and you will definitely need new shocks to go with them. He put his Jamex springs and some Tokico HP's on at the same time, and in my opinion it is still slightly under-damped. Stiff, but still noticeable bounce-rebound over bumps. But then, I've got used to the same Tokico HP shocks on stock springs in my car, so my base for comparison may be off. I also dont have any other experience in lowered cars, maybe they're all like this? Maybe you should compare the spring-rates of various aftermarket springs... I don know what the Jamex ones are, they have a web-site, but I've lost the URL. The Jamex springs claim to lower the car 40mm (thats just over 1.5 inches), and they do look seriously cool. Fletch.
