That's a little drastic, as it also disables the error warning for the 

airbags. Instead, remove the trim piece under the steering column and 

look for a 2-wire connector that comes from the ignition switch. Unplug 

it and the buzzer will no longer sound when the door's open with the key 

in the switch.
