OK, folks, I've read through all the threads for the past two years regarding

a trailer hitch for my '95 Miata and now face the task of finding one to buy.

I've checked with all the local pep Boys re the DeLan Valley #8497, as

directed herein, but not only do they not stock it, they want $160 bucks for

it (the "normal price listed in their computer is over $250!!!) and it takes

5-10 working days the get one in. I got the same story with each of the four

local Pep Boys here in Louisville. I also called all the folks advertising in

the Yellow Pages and nobody else has them - most of the folks didn't even

have a listing for a Miata.

Now what? As I've read, the Valley 8497 should cost about $119 at Pep Boys,

not $160. Isn't there anywhere I could order one of these things from from a

miata.net vendor?

I called Moss, and they want $200 (no thanks, guys)
