Subject: Safety of a Miata

Well, I know that this subject has been going on and off for a long time.  I

was looking at Edmunds Used Car index thing and it said the 1990 mazda miata

only ranked a 5.6 out of 10 in safety.  I do recall that just a few months

ago it ranked about a 7.7 or 7.4 what made it drop.  Is the miata really

safe?  I own one and I feel incredibly safe in it.  Should I?  Thanks..Kirk
