Got my new (to me) Phredd '94 R detailed today at the dealer's expense.  It

came out looking great, an incredible improvement over the pale, oxidized,

cloudy finish it had last Saturday (thanks in part to my 4.5 hours of

effort polishing it by hand last Sunday).  It lasted about 5 minutes.  On

my way home, I swung by Mazda Village to pick up some oil filters (buy 2

get 1 free).  I was inside for no more than 5 minutes.  When I came out, a

SEAGULL had taken a huge CRAP right on the hood.  The entire hood was

splattered.  When I got home, I hit it with some Quick Detailer and it

cleaned up ok.  About an hour later it rained (like every day) and all the

Armor All the shop had put on the top ran down onto the paint.  I give up!
