. I think they need to start testing for drugs at the scene of accidents ..

"I didnt feel a thing" is always the excuse, BTW ... I remember looking out

the window as somebody pulled into a parking spot .... this poor little VW

was bouncing around as it was hit ... she pulled out and of course, went to

park somewhere else .. needless to say, I got the license number, and put a

note on the window of the poor VW .. person contacted me later, said the

woman wanted to handle it privately,  then balked at paying the price even

tho hit and run is very serious in this state .. moral, call the police ...

BTW, during my long hiatus (what COULD I have been thinking) without a

sports car, I became very aware of sports cars in general dissappearing into

blind spots next to and behind me in general.. as a result, I do not pass on

the right unless I have an "out" further to the right and I dont pull up

right behind people anymore, they really cant see behind them even if they

look   .. Indigo says "ouch" in sympathy..  Ingrid
