Since I keep my Miata outdoors, I ran into a similar dilema. I called Performance Buyers Club and they called Kimberly-Clark (the cover maker). They told them how I keep my Miata outdoors in New England all the time and needed something for nightly cover and daytime cover at work, that would work well against the elements. They recommended the NOAH cover, which PBC got me at a pretty good price (I forget exactly, but it was cheaper than the fancier techalon cover they carry). I now use a NOAH Car Cover every night and during the day at work. Works fantastic. Since I park outside, it protects the car from all the elements pretty good. No complaints. Car keeps as if new, shinny clean. One additional thing I do, is that I got one of those "California Dusters" and I quickly wipe down the Miata before covering it. That way any attached dirt will not scratch the car when covered. Total time including wiping to put cover on, 2 minutes. 1:30 to remove it and store in trunk. -- Rick Flashman http://www.mtholyoke.edu/~rflashma/ 93a Red (Landspeeder) Western Mass
