If it is just cost 'savings', I bet that by the time you bought a used(going for cheapest option here) for $7000 and then bought the kit, which has to be about $20000 to be worth a damn, and factor in all hidden costs like your own time...... you now have an 'almost Z3' for probably what it would have cost you just to almost buy a used Z3 anyway. If it is for performanc(getting a better Z3 than a Z3), well who knows. I am sure the Miata chassis will help, but I bet the fit/finish of the kit is not as nice as either the Miata or Z3, so now you have an ill fitting, squeak machine, that may or may not handle as well as the Miata anymore anyway. Seems like a no-win all-around. Who knows. odd.... Al
