Why not just tap in at the fuse box?  You can tell which circuits are

switched with the ignition key just by what the fuse controls (eg: wiper

circuit only works when the key is on).  The fuses are marked with their

rated amperage limit for your convenience.  Find an appropriate key

controlled circuit with a 10 amp or greater fuse and hook in with a fuse

tap.
