Actually, it appears to be wax. I think the car was still warm when I waxed it. I suppose time will wear the wax away or maybe theirs a solvent at the store I can use. Good luck with your mineral deposits. Thanks for the e-mail Scott Reston, VA '96M -----Original Message----- From: John Freas [SMTP:jfreas@gte.net] Sent: Monday, September 01, 1997 19:16 To: Scott A. Keen; Multiple recipients of list Subject: Re: Splish splash, takin' a bath Good luck. I'm still trying to get these out of my trunklid. I'm about to resort the the Meguiars 3-step process, after which I will resign myself to a paint job some day in the future. It is my understanding that some water can leave mineral deposits in the paint which won't just wash off. I hope this isn't your problem. Good luck. -John ------------------------------------------------ John Freas (jfreas@gte.net) Red '90 Base #7690 Deer Park, Long Island Team PBC Team Roebuck Team Voodoo Team "I have no idea what those dimple things on the windshield frame are for." ------------------------------------------------
