Some states are 2-plate states and others are 1-plate. Here in Virginia, it's 2-plate. I think Florida is 1-plate. Where are you? No front plate. Gang, Got stopped again today (second time in a year) for not having a front number plate. Pulled out my twisted and battered plate from under the driving seat and said "Sorry officer it fell off and I'm waiting for the brackets". Works every time, He just told me to get it fixed. If I ever actually get fined (max 140USD), then I might consider puting it back on. Actually it did fall off last year and the post office sent it back to me. So it looks authentic and I am telling the truth. The way I see it, I know the penalties and I'm prepared to take the punishment if it ever comes my way. The car looks so much better WITHOUT a plate, that I feel it's worth the risk. Thought this might help some people. Cheers Charles Lynch 91 Silver
