From: Bill Chen <mrtwo@interlog.com> Subject: dash creak and bad reception Date: Mon, 1 Sep 1997 21:24:15 +0000
Greetings all. My girlfriend just bought a 93 Miata and she loves it. So do I. I own a 91 MR2 turbo and I hate to admit it but the Miata might even be more fun! Anyways, we had the opportunity to take her car on a long journey for this long weekend. On the way we noticed that the dash board, the climate control area, makes a creaking/vibration noise when we pass over bumps. I had to hold it in place with my foot as we drove. Another point we noticed was that her radio doesn't have the best reception. Actually, it's a lot poorer than in any other car I've riden in. We even lost a station going over a bump. Is this a common problem or do we have some electrical problem?? Other than that the car was a blast to drive. I wouldn't mind a little more power but the fun factor and the sporty feel is definetly up there. I appreciate any reply from all of you. Thanks in advance and please reply to me directly. I tried subscribing for a day but was shocked by the high volume of mail. Man, Miata owners are a loyal and HUGE group. Thanks again.
