Peter, I have that lite-minder on my 91 (installed, coincidentally enough, in Atlanta) :) The red lead goes to the "tail" fuse. (or any circuit that's hot when the lights are on) Using the tail light fuse means you get a warning when just the parking lights are on, which is the most common way to leave then on. The white lead goes to the "cigar" fuse (or any circuit that's hot when the accessory switch is on.) Be glad - you've got one of the "easy" cars to install this sucker. :) Todd & Miatoy 91 White A 116k miles Lite-minded for 4 years now. ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Lite-Minder Help Needed Author: Peter Brusa <pBrusa@sftp.com> at P_ONS_INTERNET_MAIL Date: 9/2/97 9:48 AM While searching through my garage yesterday, I found an unopened K-Mart Lite-Minder kit and had some questions about it: The buzzer has two wires: one red and one white. Red goes to "Instrument Panel Lamps fuse" and white goes to "any other fuse that makes the buzzer sound when lights are left on." What the hell does this mean? Has anyone hooked the hot lead to the headlight fuse? Any insight would be MOST helpful. -Peter Brusa 1991 Classic Red Peachtree Chapter
