Mechanical aspects now understood and I believe I can proceed. Thanks to all who responded in a 'short' time' Several of you pointed out that I don't need to get new trim panels - just modify the existing ones. Thanks - will do. Also several of you suggested getting the strikers, etc., off of the seller's car. Good idea, however, the seller some time ago sold the car to someone who did not want the top. So the top was the only thing Miataly in the garage. On Mon, 1 Sep 1997 akira2787@webtv.net wrote: > Way to go, Lester! Didn't we discuss this on the mailing list? Yes, we did. It doesn't look too bad. But I'm not sure of my long term plans. Got the manual plus the instructions that came with the top. Appreciate the offer. Lester Welch '97R "LadyBug" Red, Md.
