It is in every respect except the instructions and the strut itself.

Looks fine on mine but I don't doubt the possibility this could happen on

some lids.  The strut has 65lbs of lift as I recall.  It is also possible

that whoever makes the Wiz/BSP kit has changed the strut over time and you

and I have different parts.  BSP did confirm that their kit supplier was

the same as Wiz's and that the kit I got from Moss was different.  



Moss was really good about the return though, and who knows, maybe they

have gotten the kit supplier to change the strut or the mounting bracket

hole by now.
