Sorry, but the Moss kit is a knock-off, and not a good one.  I got one for

Christmas and installed it but the strut is different than the one Wiz

sells and it would not extend enough to raise the lid all the way (yes I

followed the directions).  It stopped a good 15 degrees short and was very

annoying.  I sent it back and ordered one from BSP, which is the same as

the Wiz kit.  Others here confirmed this problem.



I am very happy with this one and would do it again.  I might however,

drill the hole in the hinge further back next time so the lid raises all

the way to the hinge bump stops before the strut reaches max extension.
