>Modena ? Isn't that the Ferrari place or was it Marenello ? Or just close by. >At least a lot of Ferraris are equiped with Momos. Maranello is a suburb of Modena. The original Ferrari site, which was bombed during WWII, including Enzo's office, was in Modena. The current Ferrari factory is in Maranello. You may have noticed that all current production Ferraris come equipped with "Voodoo" knobs. F355s, 456 GTs, and 550 Maranellos all use metal spheres for shift knobs. It's OK, though; I won't sue them, since the Voodoo Knob is unabashedly based on the alloy shift knobs used in their sports racers of the '50s and '60s like TDFs, SWBs, and GTOs. You may or may not have also noticed that none of the folks who paid anywhere from $135,000 to $225,000 for those cars seem to bitch and moan much about excessive heat transfer to their hands [g]. ------------------------------------ Voodoo Bob Team Voodoo proprietor San Diego Miata Club Age & Treachery Racing, Ltd. http://mmdshare.ucsd.edu/voodoo.html ------------------------------------
