Thanks to your reference, I just called them, spoke to Bruce and you're

right.  He seems knowledgeable and offered what I think is a great

price.  Bell #B-M45 for $189.95.  It is SA95 approved. Available in

while or black.  They are currently including a fleece lined helmet bag

at no charge by AutoPro. Bruce claimed that it looked real "naaass"

(Roswell Georgia, you know), with the AutoPro logo graphic on it

(whatever that is).  This bag normally sells for $19.95.



He also said that they stopped carrying Simpson helmets as they think

Bell's are better quality(?).



He offered to FAX the catalog sheet to me, which I'm awaiting now so I

can confirm that this is the style I want...open face with visor and

detachable "shield" just over the eyes position.



For you more helmet-knowledgeable among you, is this a good price?  Is

this a good helmet for the price?



Personal note to Rebecca (Becalizard):  for custom painting, do you

prefer to start with a white helmet or black?  If I'm going to have a

helmet at all, I'll want it custom painted.
